The unusual spectacle can be seen in the San Francisco Bay. When viewed from a distance, the picture resembles the Dutch tulip fields, although vegetation place has an indirect relationship. In fact, the bright spots is nothing but salt ponds that are used for the extraction of salt from sea water.
